Artificial intelligence turns surveillance into a commodity: drones watch EU borders, algorithms clock every keystroke in the office. In this workshop I draw on my Pulitzer Center AI fellowship to unpack both worlds—facial recognition at checkpoints and productivity dashboards that rank workers. You’ll learn which vendors and agencies drive the trend, how to mine tender databases and leaked datasets, and how to force transparency with targeted freedom-of-information requests and smart data matching.
